PCBNet

Opinion:
--------

PCBNet is a ALL PCBoard Network. There are alot of Networks out there, but I
wanted to start a Network just for the GREATEST BBS SOFTWARE made! In my
opinion PCBoard is that software.

Software:
---------

PCBNet currently uses the NetMail Relay Program to do mail transfers. I have 
included this program with this zip file to help speed up you joining the 
net. 

Hubs & Nodes:
-------------

We just started not long ago, so we are still very small, and I would like
this Network to grow quickly. We need Hubs & Nodes, mostly Hubs at the current 
time. If you would like to be a Hub, unzip the software, and set the hub door
up on your system. Then you will relay with the nethub, which is my system 
listed later in this file. Everything is pretty easy to set up, but if you 
have problems, you can get a hold of me by calling my BBS at the number for
the NetHub. Once you have setup your Hub, just call the NetHub and start 
your transfers using door 52 at the current time. Right now we don't have very
many conferences, as we need nodes to support them. I will add them as they 
are requested. You must setup 1 conference to start, that is Sysops, I'm 
using this conference for now, to do all net messages etc. we could add a 
conference just for net members at a later date. If you just want to be a 
node that's fine too. As of this typing we only had the nethub, so you will 
have to transfer there, or leave a message on my system and I will reply with 
your closest hub to use. As soon as you are setup, you can start transfers 
with the nethub, as I have it setup to accept new bbs's as for now to get 
things rolling.

NetHub:

The Ultimate Connection PCBoard
(313) 232-1905 - HST 14.4 V42 Supported.
Door 52 is the NetHub as of this date.

Taglines:
---------

I do ask that all hubs and nodes set there taglines as:
[PCBNet] BBS info...............................
I want the [PCBNet] as the first thing in your tagline, that way all will
know what net we are, and there will be no problems in this area. Here is a
sample of my tag to help you undestand what I mean:
[PCBNet] The Ultimate Connection - Flint, Mi - 313-232-1905
Please have this set, before you start transfering mail. 

More Information:
-----------------

More info can be recieved by calling the nethub and leaving a message to the 
sysop. I will reply as soon as possable.

Hubs:
-----

We will give hubs there name as HUB?? as the ??'s are there 2 letter state
abb. If you are a hub, use the HUB?? as your BBS ID. Nodes can pick any
id right now, later there could be a sign in time first as id's could 
become doubled. If you decide to become a hub, you can without any nodes 
right now, that could change later. But I do ask once you are setup and 
transfering to try to get nodes from your state to join in, this file will be
posted on Salt Air. But word of mouth helps alot in starting a new net.
 
Conferences:
------------

As conferences could grow quickly, I have decided to not list any here. Once
you have joined I will set it to send you a list of current conferences.
Plus you may request any new ones at that time. But if you request it be 
available to be the host of it. Just set Sysops up as your first conference, 
be sure to list it in the software as SYSOPS as that is the net name for that 
conference.

Net Helpers:
------------

As we grow I will be asking for people to help out in different areas, like
a person to set up new conferences, etc. Basicly the people to help out so
one person doesn't have to do everything.

Final Note:

Please unzip the software and join today. I know this file was written 
kinda quickly to get it out, if anyone would like to write a better one for
the net that's fine. Just send it to NETHUB, when you have it done. Thanks
